The Reading Institute (TRI) is offering educators in New York City and beyond access to free training and curricular materials to implement the Reading Go program! If you are a 1st or 2nd grade educator, sign up for training and join our community as we expand access to our evidence-based reading intervention. Reading Go is an elementary literacy intervention for striving readers. The program brings together some of the best instructional practices from the field of reading science into a highly engaging, multimodal session that provides students with explicit and systematic instruction to support their foundational reading skills. The training consists of one 30-min live (virtual) kickoff (link to access will take you to a Calendly to schedule this), 8 hours of asynchronous coursework, and one 60-min live (virtual) closing session.
