In this course, you will be become familiar with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act/Education for Homeless Children and Youth Act. You will also come to understand the educational rights of homeless children and youth and gain insight about the challenges that homeless children and youth face. This will assist advisors to be able to better prepare students who experiences homelessness with college access/attainment.
