2025 Community Collaboration Challenge

The National Partnership for Student Success (NPSS) Support Hub at the Everyone Graduates Center will issue another round of awards designed to create, scale, or pilot Pk-12 evidence-based NPSS aligned student supports—tutors, mentors, student success coaches, wraparound/integrated student support coordinators, and/or post-secondary transition coaches—in communities across the country. Additional points will be given to 1) applicants looking to utilize people-powered supports as part of a larger strategy to address chronic absenteeism in their communities and/or 2) applicants engaging high school students in NPSS-aligned roles (e.g. high school students supporting their younger peers as tutors, mentors, etc.). Priority will also be given to applicants who have been proven conveners in their community and can demonstrate the ability to activate networks to address a common goal. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, school districts, city or state agencies, and higher education institutions.
Supported by the Leon Lowenstein Foundation, the 2025 Community Collaboration Challenge aims to support both local and state level collaboration. Awards will range from $5,000-$10,000 and the amount will be determined based on the scale and scope of the proposed activities. All deliverables must be completed by June 15, 2025. Awardees will engage in three virtual sessions designed to support awardees with their design and provide opportunities for collaboration with fellow awardees. Organizations not already part of the NPSS Supporting Champions network will be accepted and invited to engage in ongoing collaboration and networking opportunities.
Funding applications will be reviewed by a diverse team of judges and the NPSS Steering Committee utilizing the 2025 Community Collaboration Challenge rubric.
